Sfizo ("we", "us") is operated by Sfizo Inc. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, please contact us using this form.

Account: your email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), your display name, and an optional profile photo.

When you use the app we also store:

• Household content you create: recipes, weekly dinner plans, shopping lists, and pantry essentials.
• Preferences: dietary choices, allergies, disliked ingredients, cook-time limits, servings, and unit system.
• Your chosen language.
• If you invite a partner: the email address you enter to send the invite.

We do not collect payment data. Sfizo is free and asks for no card details.

We use your data only to run the service: to sign you in, store and show your recipes and plans, build your grocery list, send a household invite when you ask, and keep your account secure.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), on the basis of your consent where you provide optional information, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.

Your data is stored in the European Union. We host the database, authentication, and images with Supabase (region eu-north-1) and run the app on Vercel.

We share data only with the providers that operate the service on our behalf:

• Supabase: database, authentication, and image storage (EU).
• Vercel: application hosting (EU).
• Sentry: error monitoring. We disable personal-data collection, run no session recording, and scrub emails and tokens before an error is sent.
• Resend: delivers the emails we send, a household invite, your feedback, and your contact messages.

We use only strictly necessary and functional cookies, to keep you signed in and to remember your language. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We keep your data for as long as your household exists. When you delete your household, its data is permanently removed.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing:

• Access and correct: view and edit your profile, recipes, and preferences in the app.
• Export: download a copy of your data from Account, Data.
• Delete: remove your household and all its data from Account, Danger zone.

Deleting your household removes its content. To also delete your login (email and password) from our authentication provider, please contact us using this form and we will erase it.

If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Sfizo is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top when we do.
