Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 9 August 2026

We want Sfizo to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549.

Where we stand

Sfizo is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. We build with semantic HTML, keyboard support, visible focus, and sufficient colour contrast, and we run automated accessibility checks (axe, WCAG A and AA rules) as part of our tests. Some areas may still fall short.

Known limitations

  • Drag and drop on the weekly calendar is pointer-based; it has a keyboard alternative (a "Move to" menu), but the drag interaction itself is not keyboard-operable.
  • Some content, including imported recipe images, comes from third parties and may lack ideal alternative text.
  • We have not yet completed a full independent audit.

Feedback

If you hit an accessibility barrier, please tell us using this form so we can fix it. We treat accessibility issues as bugs.

This statement

We update this statement as we fix issues or add features, so it reflects the current state of the app.
